About Us

We are a family run practice providing great dental care in the heart of Pwllheli. We are located in a grade 2 listed building which has served as a dental practice for over three generations. We are very proud to have built up a loyal customer base from all over the Llyn Peninsula, and pride ourselves on our friendly and professional service.

Elsbeth (Owner and Dentist)

Elsbeth qualified from Cardiff in 2009. After several years working in Swansea and Cardiff, in 2016 Elsbeth decided to move back home with her husband and their dog, Swci. Elsbeth worked in Caernarfon for over 3 years, before deciding to buy her own practice here in Pwllheli. She enjoys all aspects of her work, and prides herself on providing friendly, professional, and high-quality dental care. Elsbeth has recently completed training in facial aesthetics and will offer a range of treatments at the practice.

Elsbeth now has 2 young and very active children, and in her spare time enjoys camping with her family, outdoor swimming and competing in triathlons.

Caron (Dentist)

Caron Pari is originally from Bangor, and qualified from Cardiff Dental School. Since graduating, she has worked in general practice, paediatric dentistry and maxillofacial surgery. She has a reputation for being a friendly and conscientious dentist. Caron gained the prestigious MFDS qualification from the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow in 2021.Caron firmly believes in continuing education to ensure she continues to provide her patients with the best possible care. In her spare time she enjoys spending time in the mountains and cooking.

Rhys Tudur Owen (Dentist)

Originally from Anglesey, Rhys Owen graduated as a dental surgeon (BDS) from the University of Cardiff, in 2008. Following a vocational training year in Cardiff he worked as a general dental practitioner in London for seven years. He became a member of the joint dental faculties (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2016, prior to moving to Malta and working at a private dental and implant clinic.

He has a keen interest and experience in aesthetic Dentistry, CAD/CAM digital dentistry, smile design, orthodontic treatment and aligners.

In his free time he enjoys dining out, various sporting pursuits and the occasional holiday to new and exciting places.

Einir Evans (Practice Manager)

Einir joined the practice in August 2019 and registered as a dental nurse in 2016. Previously, she worked in a dental surgery in Caernarfon where she started her career in dentistry. In her spare time Einir enjoys running and spending time with her family.

Kelly Gulliford (Lead Nurse)

Kelly joined the practice in August 2019 and registered as a fully qualified Dental Nurse in 2020. Kelly previously worked locally as a care home assistant but decided to take on a new challenge and train to become a Dental Nurse. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys exploring the Llyn Peninsula with her family.

Cara Pilling (Dental Nurses)

Cara joined the practice in November 2020 as a Receptionist and Administrative leader. Before working at the practice Cara worked as a Retail Store Manager and also works as a beautician. She is friendly and professional and speaks both Welsh and English. In her spare time Cara enjoys going away in the caravan with her family, walking the dogs and spending time with her son.

Steph Rowlands (Receptionist)

Steph joined the practice in September 2020 and quickly became a valued member of the team, having a friendly and kind manner with both patients and staff. Before starting here Steph worked with the elderly with dementia for over 16 years. In her spare time Steph enjoys going on holiday abroad and exploring new places with her little boys.
